We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our outpatient services team.
Position Summary:
The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will provide direct patient care to adult individuals in an outpatient setting. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team—including psychiatrists, psychologists, therapists, and primary care providers—to ensure comprehensive, coordinated treatment plans for patients.

We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our outpatient services team.
Position Summary:
The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will provide direct patient care to adult individuals in an outpatient setting. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team—including psychiatrists, psychologists, therapists, and primary care providers—to ensure comprehensive, coordinated treatment plans for patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and follow-up appointments for outpatient clients
- Provide telepsychiatry services using secure, HIPAA-compliant platforms
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with behavioral health team members and refer patients to appropriate internal or external resources as needed
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR)
- Participate in case conferences, supervision, and quality improvement initiatives
- Educate patients and families on mental health conditions, treatment options, and medication adherence
- Licensed (or eligible for licensure) as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse in NJ
- Certified in specialty
- DEA license with the ability to prescribe psychiatric medications
- Experience in outpatient psychiatry preferred (new grads with strong training and interest in outpatient care may be considered)
- Comfortable with telehealth platforms and remote patient care
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Passion for providing equitable, culturally competent mental health care
